Research Center for Hydraulic Engineering Consulting
The Research Center for Hydraulic Engineering Consulting (hereinafter referred to as the "Center") was founded in 2019. It serves as the Company’s core platform for in-depth engagement in water conservancy and water services sectors and for driving technological and managerial innovation. With three strategic pillars of “Cultivation of Technical Talents, Research on Industry Standards, and Development of Water Engineering Projects”, the Center strives to become a leader in whole-process consulting services for hydraulic engineering.
(1) Core Business and Research Focus Focusing on the full industrial chain including water diversion and conveyance, flood drainage and irrigation, water supply and land reclamation, soil and water conservation, water environment treatment, sewage treatment and pipeline network construction, the Center carries out research on cutting-edge technologies. Meanwhile, it conducts in-depth interpretation of regional water conservancy policies and organizes research to tackle key and difficult issues in whole-process engineering consulting, providing solid support for project development and management capacity improvement.
(2) Elite Team and Intellectual Support The Center is headed by a senior hydraulic engineering project manager of the Company. Its core team members, totalling over 50 professionals, are frontline practitioners from national and provincial key water conservancy projects such as the Gongming Reservoir–Qinglinjing Reservoir Connecting Project in Shenzhen, the Tangpu Reservoir Water Diversion Project in Cixi City, and the Comprehensive Black and Odorous Water Remediation Project in Guangming District, boasting rich hands-on experience.
(3) Efficient Governance and Operation Mechanism A leading body is established within the Center to coordinate annual research priorities, approve research topics, supervise funds and evaluate research outcomes. It also takes charge of master planning and daily operation to ensure that R&D directions are consistently aligned with the Company’s strategy and industry demands.
(4) Iconic Achievements and Industry Contribution Since its establishment, the Center has published 1 publicly released monograph and 4 internal monographs, and cultivated more than 100 technical professionals specializing in water conservancy. Against the backdrop of nationwide promotion of whole-process engineering consulting, the Center has strongly underpinned the development of the Company’s water consulting brand and played a decisive role in expanding the Company’s market share in this specialized field, emerging as a pioneer advancing the whole-process consulting model in the water conservancy industry.
(5) Future Vision Following the national trend of national water network development and smart water conservancy, the Center will continue to deepen its expertise, explore advanced consulting service models featuring digitalization and green development, continuously empower the Company’s business and construction activities, and build a powerful technological engine for the Company’s long-term strategic growth.
